The book you need if you're working with SSRS
By Larry
I have worked with SSRS on and off (I'm back on) and I've used several books. I consider this to be the clearest and most comprehensive, and the first place I look when I need to know how to do something right now. Although this kind of reporting is giving way to various other tools such as Power Pivot, there are many requirements which can only be met with a real report generator. Her treatment of the Tablix - the flexible grouping element at the heart of SSRS - is excellent, as is her treatment of parameters and of expressions. As much as I use the internet to answer my development questions, I have found this book to be a 'goto' resource. I don't usually bother writing reviews, but when I saw that the only review for this book was a one star review for no good reason, I felt compelled.

Excellent
By Dimitri Shvorob
This can be brief - this is the best, most thorough book on SSRS 2012 (including Power View) on the market. I have now seen several SSRS books - nothing comes close. Importantly, this is not a hands-on/walk-through kind of book in the vein of Brian Larson's "Delivering business intelligence" (that's why the one-star review's complaints about missing sample files elicit another "huh?") , but a reference, aimed at intermediate users, developers and administrators. If you are going after the MCSE:BI certification, this is a necessary aid for 70-467 exam.
PS. I am an MCSE: BI.

Better than endless searching with step by step examples
By Konrad Underkofler
Great reference. SSRS is one of the toughest to learn products Microsoft makes with all sorts of non intuitive clicking in what would seem to be simple task. This book helps show the "safe" path saving hours of agony and searching. The examples are good as well. My only criticism is that it could use more screen shots.
As a product that has had several iterations a book is a better way to gain experience and avoid the it doesn't work that way anymore problem.
